1. Tim Kelly

Tim Kelly is an Australian rules football player who hails from Mid Murray, South Australia. He was born on August 27, 1994, in Nunjikompita, a small town in the region. Kelly rose to prominence as a skilled midfielder in the West Coast Eagles AFL team. Prior to that, he played for the Geelong Cats between 2018 and 2019. 2. Murray Rose

Murray Rose, born on January 6, 1939, in Birmingham, England, was an Australian swimmer who spent a significant part of his life in the Mid Murray region. 7. Hans Heysen

Hans Heysen, born on October 8, 1877, in Hamburg, Germany, was an Australian landscape artist renowned for his paintings depicting the Australian Outback and gum trees. Heysen and his family moved to the Mid Murray region in 1912, where he found inspiration for many of his famous artworks. His distinct artistic style and ability to capture the essence of the Australian landscape have made him one of the country's most celebrated painters.

8. Andrew McLeod

Andrew McLeod is a former professional Australian rules football player who was born on August 4, 1976, in Darwin, Northern Territory. Although not originally from Mid Murray, McLeod spent a significant part of his football career playing for the Adelaide Crows in the Australian Football League (AFL) and became one of their most iconic and accomplished players.
